Mission: The emergence of Emissions Trading Scheme legislation in Australia coupled with environmental issues requires a change in the use of chemical fertilisers and the utilization of organic waste materials, polymers and biological agents in combination to create new product systems and unique business opportunities. The processes by which organic based fertiliser lines and technologies have been developed allow for significant ability for the accumulation of carbon credits while delivering to agriculture reliable crop nutrition products and outcomes. A commitment to research and development will provide the platform and services required by Australian industry to meet the challenges and opportunities emerging through the carbon based directions and will assist the mining industry in optimising materials handling and the potential to value-added waste.
Barry will be overseeing lab testing, sales, and general operations at FEECO’s Australia facility. Barry’s education and hands-on background, in combination with the support of FEECO International’s 60 years of experience, will provide a strong service to the needs of the Australasia region.
Barry has a keen ability to identify issues and new opportunities at the industry level and to develop technical, business and communication programs to facilitate implementation.
